Canarias Crea Display 09 is a showcase of advanced music and related arts from the Canary Islands whose 2009 edition will continue to expand the range of proposals offered in past editions to raise awareness of other disciplines related to advanced music made in the Canaries including in this edition an audio/visual exhibition and performances of contemporary dance. The Instituto Cervantes in Berlin will host thias annual exhibition of art, dance and music related to electronics and experimentation. The live performances of music, video and dance will be held on 3 and 4 December. The audiovisual exhibition will open on December 3 and will be available until December 16 ( monday to friday from 12:00 untill 18:00). All activities of Display 09 at Instituto Cervantes are offered free of charge and open to everyone.
On this Edition again will be a night event with Electronic music and visuals with a club focus that will take place on december 3rd at Suicide Circus located in the heart of the club nightlife of the german capital.
The festival, organized by Luis Ortiz and Amanda Lopez through their non-profit cultural Klitekture, will be presented in Berlin for tirad consecutive year after the previous succesfull editions on the 4 different events in 2007 and 2008 in Berghain, Watergate and Club der visionaere in the German capital and electronic culture world capital with an average attendance of 1,500 people per event. Canarias Crea Display is the biggest International electronic art showcase from the Canary Islands.
Canarias Crea Display will be streaming this event online trough their website to make this event available to the rest of the World. Also on the website a compilation will be available for free download including Works from all artists that have been invited to participate on this years edition.
Canarias Crea Display will have a showcase with Krater and Acid Buda at "Electro-Mechanics" - a three-day international multimedia festival, representing different facets of electronic audio-visual arts - experimental and dance music, digital video art, video, installations and performances. Music of the latest styles and trends - the abstract hip hop, dub step, grime, terntablizm, jazz, IDM, droun, ambient, noise, abstract electronic, trip hop, electro, sampling, mash up and more. "Electro-Mechanics" held by the Fund Sergey Kuriokhin at the Center for Contemporary Art. Sergey Kuriokhin in St. Petersburg.
