Robert Lippok was born 1966 in Berlin.
Since his youth, he was active in different formations as a musician, visual artist and set designer. The group called To Rococo Rot was founded in the 1990s together with Ronald Lippok, the brother of Robert Lippok, and Stefan Schneider from Dusseldorf.
Since 1996 the group's releases have appeared on various labels, among others on Kitty-Yo, City Slang and Staubgold. In addition, To Rococo Rot created sound recordings for visual artists, such as Olaf Nicolai, Doug Aitken and Takehito Koganezawa.
Lippok stages solo, music performances (open close open (Raster Noton, 2001); Falling into Komeit (Monika Enterprises, 2004)).

AOKI takamasa (Japan)

Born 1976 Osaka, presently resident in Paris, France. Since the first album, 'SILICOM', released at the beginning of 2001,
Aoki has been reviewing his personal methodology whilst actively creating sounds based mainly on computer/software.
Aoki is an energetic artist vigorously expanding the limits of original musical expression.

Of late, Aoki has used his own voicings in his work, released an album in collaboration with Tujiko Noriko of Fat Cat Records,
challenges for minimal track that uses 4/4 rhythms with op.disc, has recorded a cover of 'The Beatles' song 'i will' for the BBC radio show 'One World',
and has completed a joint-production with a contemporary dancer/image writer of YCAM fame.
Although the range of Aoki's activities indicate further expansion, the presence of Takamasa Aokoi's expression never fluctuates.

[baTch 440] is a project of automatic composition developed by Sergio Oramas, musician and computer engineer, assisted by Enrique Vergara, musician and engineer in telecommunications. Its main goal is the research of the compositional essence through harmonic rules of classicism-romanticism and the cognitive capacity of the computer to use it in a contemporary context. This is an audio-visual interactive installation where a computer with a MAX / MSP program is responsible for composing music intelligently, creating chord progressions and melodies. This program advances the harmony 8 bars before its performance, which is projected on a screen. A variable number of musicians can perform music with different instruments with the computer following the score given, doing improvisations, creating textures, etc. This audio is collected together with the interpretation of the computer and is conducted through a mixer to another computer, where the audio is converted to video using another program in MAX / MSP. This program uses the equivalence between the audio spectrogram and RGB spectrogram and projects the result on another screen, creating a picture of the music played in real time.

Japanese sound artist Shingo Inao performs live with a sonification of body movement using sensor-driven techniques using two self-made instruments with tilt and distance sensors. One called Tosso looks like a thin contrabass, the other is a hand-sized device named Qgo. He also exhibits sound installations and objects focusing mainly on how sound can change the structure of a room. He studied sound art and computer music with Prof. Susumu Shono, Prof. Takayuki Rai and Takayuki Hayashi in the Kunitachi College of Music, Tokyo. He studied media art in the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG) and currently does an MA course in media design at the Bauhaus University, Weimar. His installations and objects have been shown in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Begium, America and Japan. He has performed for Electro-Mechanica (St.Peterburg), club transmediale, transmediale (Berlin) and Leipjazzig Festival (Leipzig). He won the DAAD-Prize in 2008 and in 2009 he was selected as a finalist (New Media) for the Prix Phonurgia Nova in France.

We have always understood the performance as a way of knowledge. It´s not a question of elaborating a rational speech on the object, but to have an intuitive and technological approach to it. (An intuition guided by the machines resulting in an empirically inaprehensible knowledge.)

These video performances have been considered art installations. We believe though that the fundamental gesture of these works is in the assembly of the images and not so much in the images themselves. The fact that the image assembly takes place during a live performance before a public -in a collective way- it is fundamental for us and for the nature of our work.

We´re not pursuing the narration of a story; just textures, overlapping figures and reminiscences. The spectator can establish a dialogue with these in order to create his or her own map of references. In our search of a language (that adapts to the look ) and to our object of study, the video performances have given interesting results

Marco Brosolo has been constantly active as a visual artist and performer of music since 1999. This was also when he started the music project 9 combining art and pop-songs. As a visual artist he makes paintings and drawings that mix the styles of rough cartoons and conceptual art as well as video pieces exploring the relations between images and sound, synaesthesia and video clips.
In the past he worked as performer for the theatre experiment W.I.P by La Fura dels Baus and has composed several theatre soundtracks for the French theatre company Kali&Co. Since 2006 he has been developing a multi-sensor instrument called AST that was presented for the first time at Transmediale 2010, in Berlin. Under the pseudonym 9 he released the album Eponymous featuring 9 "digital campfire songs" in 2009. Recently Marco Brosolo also founded Moving Silence, a platform of contemporary silent films and live music which became already active in several cities like Berlin, Prague, Athens, Saint Petersburg, Amsterdam and Mexico City. He joined the resident choir of the Haus deer Kulturen deer Welt, Berlin (led by Barbara Morgenstern and Philip Neumann). He lives and works in Berlin.

Since 2005 LOD and Amanda Lopez have beeen working together developing audio-visual works for live performances and releases on klitekture and sinergy-networks, labels that they have been also running together since then.
In all forms of colaborations music and video are treated equally working closely from the early stages of any type of production to create Taylor made audio-visual compositions.
The result is a unique piece of art that have been presented in contemporary art museums aswell as in the Electronic dance scene all around the world. They have performed in different cities of USA, Mexico, Europe and Japan.
Together they run sinergy-networks, a netlabel based on the sinergism theory with the cooperation and interaction of artists from different countries. Sinergy-networks online events consist in the live manipulation from artists in different locations via internet. It is basically the live representation of the netlabel concept.
As Event organizers they are in charge of Canarias Crea Berlin, a showcase of electronic music and visuals from canary islands. The festival takes place in Berghain and Watergate, the most popular clubs in Berlin and probably in the World that have served as platforms to the different editions.

En el año 2003 se vincula al grupo de músicos y artistas plásticos y visuales Colectivo Drone, con quienes ha participado en diferentes conciertos y festivales ( Croma 04, Croma 05, OCA 04, Próximos en Santa Cruz 06, Sun Dance Visual 06, Canarias Crea Berlín 2007, Eólica 09) y en los recopilatorios “Sinergies”, (Sinergy Networks), “Extraños en el Paraíso vol. 2”. (Ruin Records) y una remezcla realizada por LOD (Luis Ortiz) de uno de sus temas en “Sad Electronics” ( en el sello polaco S!te Records) Ha publicado un disco, “a sleepless knight”, con el net label Sinergy Networks en el año 2006 en el que, además de los temas originales, se incluyen remezclas a cargo de LOD (Barcelona) LB^LC (Las Palmas), Neina (Japón), Sutra (México) e Hiiragi (Japón). En Agosto de 2008 publica un álbum sin título con el sello Ruin Records. Enmarcado dentro del festival itinerante Caravan (Manchester-Barcelona-Las Palmas) participa junto con otros artistas canarios en el Sónar 09. De corte introspectivo, los temas de un hombre solo se basan en estructuras simples que se repiten y superponen, creando un mundo de sonoridades melancólicas, a veces naif, en las que intercala muestras tomadas de diversas y variadas fuentes, integrándolas en sus composiciones. Son piezas inspiradas en la tranquilidad y al mismo tiempo en la inquietud, los paisajes grises y la tristeza del invierno. Electrónica lo–fi de dormitorio para tardes solitarias.

Rafa Valido, a musician and dj that since over 10 years ago linked to the black roots music, the urban music and the electronics. In his lives we can listen a fusion of the reggae, hip-hop, club and electronic. It has released his music in labels as the Gran Canarian 'Ruin-Records' and 'Nu-logic' and remixing for Roman Skok published by 'Sinergy-Networks' its last work will be published by 'Human Manipulation' a remix for the Russian artist Nick R-61. Emphasizing its contributions with Mcs as Mc-Flare (Germany) or Cifra 3 for the amplicrew collective. Domingo Alemán is a musician from Gran Canaria who started playing noise punk-rock in the 90´s in a band called Soviet Love. After that he started a solo career formed by three different proyects.
As Ruin Man he plays some kind of electronic rock where guitars and acoustic drums live together with digital sounds and samples.
Under this name, that works as a band that has had different members, he has issued 6 albums in his own label Ruin Records..
As Estarqui he has isued two dance floor oriented lo-fi dark techno albums. Also in Ruin.

His last proyect is dom where he explores in a downtempo style, taking differents ways of black music like hip-hop, funk, dub or soul as a start point.
Dom´s discography at the moment is 2 solo albums in Ruin Records, one more together with hip-hop combo Alma sin Dueño, also in Ruin, another album in Nu-Logic netlabel and 3 EPs in different netlabels like Nu-Logic, Mascero Lab and EdP.

Gran Canaria born and raised, Jonas got involved in music radio back in 1997.
He defines himself as a compulsive explorer of music, in its broader sense, as eclecticism is one of Jonas' principles as a dj .

His approach reaches such diverse styles as electro or hip-hop, or more complementary ones, as techno and dub are.
From all of these styles, he carefully selects the pieces of a sound puzzle that mainly seeks emotion creation and mindstate alteration, by means of good taste and neat technique.

He has shared decks with artists such as LOD, Gregory Shiff, Mikael Stavostrand or Barem, and his work as member of several local music collectives has helped spreading the electronic culture in the Canary Islands.
